Our experience has also been recognized by State Attorneys General through our selection as outside counsel to litigate complex healthcare fraud claims on behalf of their States.
Results.
In recent years we have recovered over $250 million for our clients. Such representative matters include: the representation of a nationwide class of truck stops in an antitrust matter that settled for $130 million; the representation of a nationwide class of self-insured local governmental entities in a complex prescription drug fraud matter that settled for $82 million; the representation of a large hospital system in a breach of contract arbitration that resulted in a $2.2 million judgment; the representation of numerous State Attorneys General and their Medicaid programs and/or State Health Plans in recovering in excess of $30 million in prescription drug pricing litigation; and the representation of numerous rice farmers in litigation resulting from the contamination of the rice industry with genetically modified rice that resulted in significant settlements.
