MF Global Customers File Consolidated Amended Class Action Complaint

MF Global customers seeking hundreds of millions of dollars in damages filed a Consolidated Amended Class Action Complaint in the Southern District of New York against former MF Global CEO Jon Corzine, other former MF Global directors and officers, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and CME Group.  The amended complaint comes less than a week after the one-year anniversary of the collapse of MF Global and the revelation that over $900 million in customer property was inappropriately used by the firm.

McCulley McCluer represents lead plaintiff Henry Rogers Varner, Jr., a Mississippi cotton broker and MF Global customer, in this multi-district litigation.  Plaintiffs' counsel has entered into a cooperation agreement with James W. Giddens, the Trustee for the liquidation of MF Global, Inc., which assigned to the Class Plaintiffs--on behalf of the customers and creditors of MF Global, Inc.--certain claims against MF Global's former directors and officers and PwC, which plaintiffs' counsel are pursuing along with the class action claims.
